This summer, XTD elevated of The Langham, Shanghai, Xintiandi, is the cool place to be for enjoying outdoor BBQ dinner fired with premium hard wood charcoal.

Ideally Located at Level 5 of the hotel, XTD elevated will set a nouveau benchmark of al fresco grill dining in Shanghai.  In the intimate and relaxing terrace setting, patrons can enjoy superb dining experience as food offerings are of premium quality and all ingredients are prepared a la minute.  Service is attentive yet unpretentious.


The new menu of XTD elevated features three different kinds of premium meat cuts such as tenderloin, sirloin, Mulwarra veal cutlet, Bultarra Saltbush lamb rack. Menu highlight is Killara Wagyu, beef secondary cuts exclusively butchered for XTD elevated. For a party of two to four diners, they may choose to share Tomahawk steak (1kg) or Bone-in Ribeye (500g).   All meats on the menu have been carefully chosen and imported from those first-tier cattle farms in Australia and New Zealand.

In addition, Chilled oysters and Fruits de Mer such as New Zealand premium scampi, Roasted Atlantic halibut, Boston live lobster plus Atlantic salmon fillet are also on offer.

At the beginning of your dinner, freshly baked onion bread with three choices of home seasoned butter (caper, saffron and herb) are served. All meats and seafood are grilled to perfection on the open-air barbecue grill with provision of side dishes, salads and a variety of sauces and dips. Home seasoned sauces include red wine reduction sauce, porcini mushroom sauce, black pepper sauce, Chimichurri as well as Asian barbecue sauce.

Every Saturday, the restaurant offers something extra – patrons may enjoy XTD elevated signature Whole Roasted Chicken from the rotisserie oven.   On Sundays, Special Teasing Platter is available – diners can choose a combo of five items (100g each) from the superb range of offerings to share.


XTD elevated offers an extensive beverage list for your wining and dining pleasures.  There is a special New World wine category featuring exclusive wines of Australia and New Zealand. Diners may also opt for innovative cocktails, craft beer and other concoctions.

XTD elevated at The Langham, Shanghai, Xintiandi, features an outdoor dining space with a capacity of 80 diners.  There are five cabanas, wooden dining tables, and a bar counter for up to 20 guests. The restaurant is open Mondays to Sundays 6 pm to Midnight.
